1. How do I report drainage problems to the City?

Drainage problems can be reported by clicking on "Report a Concern" module on the City's main website.

2. What steps is the City taking to prevent flooding?

For the past several years, the City, along with consulting engineers and residents, has been working diligently to identify problem areas within the City and determining best methods of minimizing the effects of Stormwater in the City. More recently, the City has begun working on projects to maximum alternate areas of Stormwater storage in different areas of the City. Additionally, staff works with homeowners to identify steps an individual may take to help protect their properties during these events.

3. Can I attend meetings about Public Works projects?

The public is invited to attend the Public Works & Building Committee meetings which are held on the 2nd & 4th Monday of every month at City Hall.

Additionally, stormwater specific meetings will posted on the project calendar.

4. What do I do in case of a flooding emergency?

If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services at 9-1-1.

5. Should I report flooding on my property?

Residents are encouraged to report any type of flooding to the City. This includes water on any part of the property (yard, house, garage, etc.). When residents report these incidents, the City can determine which parts of the City should be assisted through future planning and stormwater projects.
